I had the privilege of bringing these stories to life for the American Battle Monuments Commission — honoring the men and women who served in World War II through a series of documentary films. Our flagship piece premiered in Normandy at the D-Day 80 Ceremony, introducing the President of the United States to an audience of over 15,000 people, including Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.

On this project, I moved from producing to gaffing, shooting additional footage the day of release, and even crafting the sound design and mix for this flagship piece. The ability to jump between so many roles, especially with the small team we had, was both a challenge and a blessing.
